Scripture for Friday!

 I just LOVE reading Psalms! It's really inspiring! I of course get to read a few each day during my quiet times and throughout my journey in my discipleship reading plan. Here are a few I have read today that I hope you will love as much as I do and I pray that they inspire you as much as they have me today!

 

PSALM:125:1-2

" Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore."

 

* This is just another reminder for us that God is ALWAYS with us and will never leave us no matter what. In all situations and circumstances we can take comfort in knowing that He IS there with us through it ALL. So long as we TRUST that fact and TRUST in Him and Him alone there is nothing that we can do through that can shake us or take us down because He is always there, right there ready to pick us up and help us along the way. He is as steady and strong for us as a mountain.

 

PSALM 126: 5-6 " Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him."

 

* God's ability to heal and rescue the broken is beyond anything that we can ever begin to wrap our brains around ever. We cannot ever even begin to imagine how God does what He does. Our tears can be the seeds that can grow into a harvest of joy because God is able to ALWAYS bring good out of tragedy or bad circumstances no matter what. If we can allow our human nature to allow it to happen and allow God to do His work that is, and allow Him to open our eyes to the healing and to the good. We just have to be patient while we wait for healing to come and be restored. We have TRUST God and His timing.

 

This verses seem so simple and yet if you seem to be in a time of trouble or grieving or feeling desperate or lost or turmoil or where ever you may be, these verses can truly be your saving grace. These verses can be your light at the end of the otherwise dark tunnel. God is the way the truth and the light and it's unfolded in this beautiful words of scripture in these verses in Psalms right here. I pray that you can take hold of these beautiful truths and hold them near and dear to your heart and share them with others that may need light in their world today or tomorrow or whenever. God has called us to be his representative's and we should take it to heart in every way.
